FORMcards are instant. When they're cool, they're ready to use, so you can fix things quickly in emergency situations, like when a handle breaks on a tool, or a button falls off your jacket.

They are strong like nylon, so they can be used for long lasting solutions, such as making hooks in your workshop to hold tools, or pans in your kitchen.

FORMcards are reusable, so if you don't like what you've made, or if you're finished with a project, you can just melt it back down again and use it for something else. Great for making new toys as your kids grow up!

FORMcards stick to some other plastics when they are very hot and sticky. So if you take them straight out of a cup of hot water you can use them to fix broken plastic toys, tools, or anything that normally gets thrown away that they will stick to. This might be something small like a favourite plastic shovel while on holiday, or saving something larger like a cracked fridge drawer. They can even be used to fuse onto the plastic of a broken car wing mirror so keep a black one in your glove compartment for emergencies!

FORMcards are made from a starch based bio-plastic that is totally non-toxic. We have worked closely with both the chemical company, the moulders and even the colourant suppliers to ensure this is the case.

FORMcards fit in your wallet and they fit in a cup, so you can take them and use them anywhere you can find hot water. They're quick, clean, simple, instant and fun to use.

FORMcards are made in loads of lovely colours which makes them fun to use in different situations, like camo green for foresty people, fluo orange for high visibility fixes or simple primary red, yellow, blue to mix your own colours. We will also soon be releasing crazy mutant mixed colours for people into zombie apocalypse / alien invasions...... Oh, and of course we also have black, white and grey for more understated situations.

Please note: Colours are assigned randomly!

How To Use:

1. Melting FORMcard using hot water

  • Use boiling or hot water (for water that has just been boiled, leave to cool for a couple of minutes)
  • Drop your FORMcard into the water and leave for 2 minutes
  • Check whether your FORMcard has softened (Use a metal spoon to gently test if it is soft)
  • When ready, retrieve your FORMcard using a metal spoon
  • Your FORMcard is ready to use

2. What tools and equipment to use

  • Glass jug, cup or ceramic bowl - perfect to pour your hot water into
  • Ceramic or glass plate - It is good to have a surface to work on which your FORMcard won't stick to!
  • Metal spoon - Use a spoon to retrieve your FORMcard from hot water
  • Cold water - Having a bowl or cup of cold water to hand will speed up the FORMcard cooling process so you can work quickly
  • FORMcard will still to other plastics so it is best to avoid containers or tools which are plastic (unless of course you want FORMcard to stick to them!)

3. Remelting lumps

  • Pour boiling or hot water into a cup or jug and leave to cool for a couple of minutes
  • Place your FORMcard into the water and leave to soften
  • Test the edges of your FORMcard, if they are soft, remove from the water and smooth with your hands. If they are not soft, place back into the hot water and repeat this step.
  • Place your lump back into hot water and repeat step 3. Work methodically to smooth out your FORMcard.
  • For particularly stubborn or dense lumps you may need to repeat this step several times!

4. Making your FORMcard into smaller sections: Using Scissors

  • Submerge the section of FORMcard that you want in hot water
  • Leave to soften
  • Once the section has softened, remove from the hot water
  • Cut the section using scissors

Using metal cookie cutters

  • Submerge your FORMcard in hot water
  • Leave to soften
  • Once your FORMcard has softened, remove from the hot water
  • Smooth your FORMcard out into a larger surface (it can be helpful to do this against a glass plate)
  • Press your chosen cutter firmly into the FORMcard ‚Äč
  • You can now remove the cut section
  • If the cutter has not gone all the way through the material you can use scissors to cut around the indent

1. Heating FORMcard using a hairdryer

  • Use a hairdryer to give a targeted burst of heat and to soften your FORMcard

2. Sticking FORMcard to FORMcard

  • Stick different sections of FORMcard together to make a more complicated solution
  • You need to make sure that you stick the two parts together while they are both still hot so that they will bond

3. Sticking FORMcard to other plastics

  • Before using FORMcard, test a small amount on the plastic object you wish to fix to make sure that the two materials will stick together

4. Taking moulds/impressions

  • FORMcard will allow you to take accurate impressions and moulds of most object
  • Heat FC and place onto/around your chosen object
  • Leave to cool
  • Remove and you have an accurate mould of your object
